The job of wordpressdotcom is to deliver my content. Not to inject tons of unnecessary JavaScript and have a 19/100 performance score. Time to switch.

I'm switching to a stack that will: - have a 100/100 perf score, - require 0 maintenance, - outlive all other stacks.

My new stack is called... "pureHTML+CSS". Hosted straight from my repo via GitHub pages. #serverless #nocode

In addition to all benefits listed above, I get: - instant dev loop - instant build step (there is none) - 100% portable - custom styling (for free, using the power of something called "CSS") - Long Term Support (as long as the web exists)

Much better: 100/100 on all scores. The <body> of my latest article is 30 lines long, very readable. 0 line of JS. labs.steren.fr is now hosted on GitHub pages and auto-updates anytime I edit the sources at github.com/steren/labs
