agtmadcat speculawyer oboylemm Overall, I agree it's a nice "milestone" that coal < renewable. My issue is that the chart hides gas. Coal consumption has shifted to gas, and gas consumption has drastically increased in absolute. Yeah, gas = 50% CO2 of coal, but in absolute, CO2 goes up and up.
