Today I turned down an Java app deployed to App Engine 10 years ago (labs.steren.fr/2011/09/20/square-of-the-dead/) I never updated it. It was still running and processing data like on day 1. Kudos to the App Engine team. I know it went through a ton of internal migrations. 10 years is a long time.On twitter.com ↗

And I was able to delete everything (app, artifacts, logs, data) without worrying about potential side effects on other apps by simply deleting the GCP project.Permalink On twitter.com ↗
