    inkscape mrdoob I use Inkscape quite a lot (except when I am on a mac, as mac support is really not good). It is still a reference for SVG editing...

      inkscape mrdoob But from a technical standpoint, relying on browsers as rendering engine is probably a better bet, that would allow to focus on the GUI part
